Mikulov is a very pretty town set in a beautiful countryside of South Moravia, surrounded by vineyards and dotted white cliffs, sitting in the shadow of it’s own castle.

The town offers many historic sites such as Mikulov Castle, Museum of the Jewish Community, Dietrichstein Tomb, The Upper Synagogue and The Jewish Cemetery, just to name a few.

The church of St. John the Baptist is a destination of first pilgrimages in Central Europe. It is set in a beautiful picturesque town square.

If the weather is right, it pays to do a short climb to the Holly Hill where you can take a look at the oldest shrines in the Czech Republic and be rewarded with a stunning views of nearby villages and numerous vineyards.
