Znojmo is a marvellous historical town with numerous churches, medieval city walls, narrow lanes and romantic views. It is the centre of a well known wine region.
The town’s oldest monument is dating from 11th century and is called the Romanesque Rotunda of Our Lady and St. Catherine, another dominant feature of the town is the Church of St. Nicholas.
The 30km vast underground is one of the largest underground labyrinths in Central Europe. It extends over several levels and winds its way below buildings, streets and squares of the historic town centre.
